An easy way to transform a simple article of clothing like shorts, is by having it made of interesting material, such as…. suede! Suede is a type of leather thats softer due to the velvety nap finish. Designers such as Christopher Kane, United Bamboo, Graeme Armour and Jill Stuart all incorporated suede in their Spring 2011 runway collection. The softness and pliability of suede makes it a versatile fabrication choice and extremely suitable for clothes and accessories. With the sun finally luring into Spring, why not take on this suede/camel colored trend by finishing off your outfit in suede short shorts!

HOW TO WEAR SUEDE SHORTS:
1. Wear soft colors: Suede is soft and often neutral in color, therefore wearing light colors such as pale pink or white, will help maintain a lightweight feel to the outfit. Wearing soft colors will also help create that soft and muted look.
2. Feminine and simple top: Suede in itself already has the capacity to create a demanding fashion statement. Therefore, attempt to keep the focus on the suede shorts by wearing a simple top. Wearing a simple top will also create a classy and clean look. Making sure the top’s feminine will help add that delicate appeal to the outfit and of the suede.
3. Brown footwear: Wear shoes with some type of brown in them. It matches and looks best when paired with suede.
