My first time visiting Joshua Tree National Park left me with an even bigger appreciation for California and nature. Covering 790,636 acres of land, Joshua Tree is absolutely beautiful, clean and most of all freeing. I was amused by the different pockets of areas to visit such as the hidden valley, the jumbo rocks and the cactus garden. This particular trip also resonated with me because it reminded me of the different things in life to appreciate outside of your everyday life. These past few years I’ve disconnected from blogging a bit because I’ve been wrapped up establishing myself by obtaining my MBA, growing a career within my company, focusing on my relationships and just taking on adulthood. While it’s important to build a successful career path for yourself, its equally as important to take time to appreciate life, hobbies and the wonders of your surroundings. Blogging has always been a hobby of mine and I’ve always been an avid wanderer for nature so Joshua Tree was perfect, in so many ways.
