Leather has the ability to transform any piece of clothing article and give it a tough-girl look. Instead of going all out leather, this year designers have learned to add just a touch of leather into otherwise simple pieces. The leather sleeve trend, in particular, has been adorning sweaters, jackets, shirts and even coats this year. What I love about this mixed material trend is that it adds the perfect yet subtle amount of edge into an otherwise basic jacket.
